MATCH WEEK 11 - GRECIANS STILL GOING
I keep thinking I need to write about the remarkable rise of Grecians -2000 before they start their slide down that greasy pole - and they just keep on proving me wrong. Match Week 11 sees Grecians take a second Manager of the Week award in the last three weeks. 81 points see Bob Thomas' boys up another four places to 6th. Just look at Bob's list of top performers... Aubameyang (24), Luke Shaw (13), Harry Maguire (9), Harry Kane (8). Just a shame Bob didn't select one of those as Captain, particularly Aubameyang - although James Tarkowski did OK with 5 doubled to 10.
ARMY STAY TOP
It's now nine weeks on top for Al's Army and just 45 points is enough to see them increase their lead by 12. The gap is now 60 points, the second biggest it has been and the highest since Alex Metzger led by 77 at the end of Week 5. Army saw three of their defenders score -12, including newly-signed Captain Seamus Coleman with -6, but Juraj Kucka's red card helped him to 22 points. Nightmare Novices stay 2nd but are now just three points ahead of Mr Magoo, the week's third top scorers with 71 points.
