MATCH WEEK 14: WILL HUGHES TAKE WEEKLY CROWN
At last, Will Hughes made his first appearance of the season, and for Crystal Palace. Coming on as a sub and picking up his first 2 Nightmare points, Hughes apparently inspired Chris Bounds' Will Hughes Still Love Me Tomorrow? as they pick up their first Team of the Week award, with 95 points. Ciaran Clark's very brief return to the Newcastle team - lasting just 9 minutes before being sent off - helped him pick up a bumper 30 points. He'll miss a match now though of course, and having got back in the team due to Lascelles’ suspension it’s debatable whether he’ll get back in. Thursday night's Tottenham v Brentford match saw Chris' boys snatch top spot. Brentford's first goal was an own goal by Canos with a Nightmare Assist for Pontus Jansson - between them they added 33 points to The Hughes' total.

Alongside Chris on this week's podium are our current overall top two. Mr Magoo were a point shy of Hughes with 94 while Al's Army scored 83. That means Magoo chop 11 points off of Army's lead at the top - it's now 49 points. Both chose Seamus Coleman as captain (34 points), both also have Canos.
CAPTAIN PICKS
Coleman was the week's third top scorer and the week's best captain - no-one chose Ciaran Clark or Sergio Canos. As well as the top two, Relegation Terrorists benefitted - buying Coleman this week and playing a Captains Joker.

Other good decisions:
- England Neverbes, Lucas Digne (15 = 30), also on a Captain Joker
- Gareth Bagel, Michael Keane (11 = 22)
MISSED OPPORTUNITIES
Ipswich Invincibles seem to be a master of missed opportunities. I'll have to do some stats on how many big-scorers they've missed out on through their Starting 11 selections. Once again they are the biggest losers, Lucas Digne left out (15 points). Adam Armstrong and Tyrone Mings were also on the bench and picked up 5 points each - with a perfect line-up, Ipswich would be 19 points better off.

Three managers missed out on 8-pointers:
- The Halibut Flounderers, Raul Jimenez
- Gareth Bagel, Ademola Lookman
- Clem Fandango, Raul Jimenez
SUB SAVIOURS
Nightmare Novices gained the most points for players brought in as replacements, though it was mixed news for Colette Anthony. Nicolas Nkoulou missing for Watford meant he wasn't among those getting decent points as they lost to Chelsea, but he was replaced by Josh Sargent (8 points). Cucho Hernandez being left out meant Marc Guehi came in (11 points), but with Cucho chosen as Captain it also meant Vice Captain Emmanuel Dennis saw his -2 doubled up.

Guehi was the top scorer to be brought on, equal with Ben Godfrey for Forfun.
BETWEEN THE POSTS
Arseshot made the worst goalkeeping choice of the week, selecting Hugo Lloris (-3) ahead of Daniel Bachmann (7). It wasn't just them that got it wrong though:

- Gareth Bagel, Nick Pope (-1) ahead of De Gea (7)
- U Kante Beat Me, Ilan Meslier (-1) for De Gea (7)
