MATCH WEEK 15: HALIBUT TAKE WEEKLY CROWN
Well done to The Halibut Flounderers, Match Week 15's Team of the Week with 86 points. That's a second weekly gong for David Metzger, also top back on Week 8, and David moves into the overall top five. 35 points from two Watford players (including captain Troost-Ekong, now back on top of the Top Nightmares list), plus 20 from two Norwich boys and 11 from Raul Jimenez did the bulk of Halibut's work. It was a good week for the chasing pack behind leaders Al's Army, as they recorded a below-par 48. Mr Magoo reduced the deficit by more than half, the gap now down from 49 to 23 points. Magoo took advantage of Adam Masina's injury and captained Danny Rose (15 = 30).
GRECIANS ON SLIPPERY SLOPE
I thought I'd give them a couple of weeks to see if they could steady the ship, but no it looks like Grecians -2000 are finally on the slide. After their meteoric rise took Bob Thomas' boys all the way from 31st to 4th on Match Week 12, they have slipped back to 12th. Just 8 points this week for Bob - the second worst was 25. Foster, Mee, Shaw, Alzate and Targett were all injured, Podence isolating, while Butland, Forss, Alli and Noble are still not getting picked. Just six players left to play and that included Aubameyang, dropped, and Milner also a sub. Even Harry Kane managed a 7/10 rating and only 3 Nightmare points, while the shock of a Man United clean sheet saw Maguire score -3.
TRANSFERS: POOR CHOICES FROM FORFUN
Not a good week of business for Tim Simpkins who made three changes. In came Harry Maguire, Sean Longstaff and Aubameyang and out went Kilman, Phillips and Benteke. Between them the new boys scored - 2 points, although all three ended up on the bench. Meanwhile the players sold scored a healthy 19 points (Benteke 10, Phillips 6, Kilman 3).

Elsewhere:
- Good business from leaders Army's Army, selling four players who went on to score zero points while their replacements earned 21 (although Army missed out on 7 points for Trossard, left out).
- Blackheart Brewery gained 10, bringing in Benteke.
- Hextable Hackers picked up 12 points from three new signings, although the discarded Luke Ayling returned to the Leeds team with 5 points, just in time for Leeds' delicious looking run of fixtures... Chelsea, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool.
SUB CHOICES + MISSED OPPORTUNITIES
Clem Fandango managed to combine having the top-scoring player to be left on the bench, with having the week's (equal) worst performer in their line-up. Ezri Konsa played, two goals saw him score - 8 Nightmare points for Fandango, while Junior Firpo was left out (9 points). In fact, Mohammed Salisu was left out too and he scored 7. Had Matt Woodmansey chosen Firpo and Salisu ahead of Konsa and Maxwel Cornet, Fandango would be 23 points better off.

Some other notable omissions:
- Al's Army, bought Leandro Trossard but didn't play him (7)
- Dishi Rishi, should have played Schmeichel (7) ahead of Martinez (2)
- Arseshot, selected Hugo Lloris (-3) instead of Daniel Bachmann (7)
