| YOUR NIGHTMARE SQUAD |
| Before the season begins you are asked to bid for 16 players to make up your Nightmare Squad. Two Goalkeepers, five Defenders, five Midfielders and four Forwards. Each player has a minimum price and you start with £100 million to spend. Use your money wisely… with up to 10 Nightmare Teams in each Division, up to 160 player bids will be made, so it is highly unlikely you will get all the 16 players you choose. You can change the players you have bid for right up to the initial deadline. This will not affect your transfer allocation. |
| PLAYER AUCTIONS |
For Teams entered by the initial published deadline that is when the first Player Auction takes place. Your bids will be compared against the other Nightmare Teams in the same division, the highest bid gets the man. If more than one Manager bids highest for a player, no one gets him and he remains available for the next Auction.
For Teams that enter after the initial deadline, but before the season starts, you can choose to join an existing Division (if there is space) or wait for enough new Teams to start a new Division. If you choose to join an existing Division, you won’t get any players you have bid for that have already been bought, regardless how high your bid. If you choose to wait, your Team will not start scoring points until the new Division is ready.
After the first Player Auction, additional Auctions will be held daily with the final Auction at the time of the start of the first match of the Match Week you are joining. |
| MISSED AUCTIONS |
| If you don’t enter bids in time for an Auction, you won’t get any more players and can then submit your bids before the next Auction deadline. If you still need players when the final Auction arrives, random bids will be made on your behalf. Similarly, if you do make bids for the final Auction but some are unsuccessful, random bids will be made until your Nightmare Squad is complete. |
