A TEAM FOR EACH MATCH WEEK
Each Match Week you need to select your Starting 11 before the first match of the Match Week is played. You can also prioritise your outfield reserves in the order you want them to replace any of your Starting 11 that do not play.

You cannot make changes to your current line-up once the first Premier League match of the Match Week is scheduled to have started. To be clear, if the first match is - for example - 10 minutes late starting, you won’t be able to make changes in this 10 minute window. However if the match is postponed we will endeavour to change the Match Week start time as applicable.
CAPTAIN
Each Match Week, select the player you think will have the worst Nightmare and make him your Captain. He will score double points. Choose a Vice Captain who will take your Captain’s place if he doesn’t play. If neither make an appearance, your first outfield reserve who plays will take over as Captain. If no subs come on either, your Captain will be the player that does play who has scored the most Nightmare points so far this season.
FORMATION
You can choose to play your Nightmare 11 in any formation, subject to the following:
• One Goalkeeper
• At least three Defenders
• At least two Midfielders
• At least one Forward
SUBSTITUTES
If any of your chosen Nightmare 11 does not play, a reserve will come in, if he did play. Substitutes will be picked in order of the priority you have selected. While there are rules for your formation when selecting your Starting 11 - for example a minimum of three defenders - substitutes will play irrespective of the formation rules (except for Goalkeepers). So it is possible, for example, to end up playing a formation of 5-5-0... or 1-5-4.

A Goalkeeper can only be replaced by your reserve Goalkeeper, and your sub ‘keeper can only replace your first choice Goalkeeper.
