TRANSFERS |
While at the beginning of the season you bid against other Managers for your players, this is not the case for transfers. When you want to make a transfer you will be able to choose from all players available in your Division, and your transfer is immediate. The player will no longer appear on the list of available players to other Managers. |
CHANGED YOUR MIND? CHANGE YOUR TRANSFER |
If you have submitted a transfer and would like to change it before it takes effect at the beginning of the Match Week, you can do so without penalty. You cannot, however, reverse a transfer - once you've chosen to sell a player you can't go back on it. You could 'buy' the same player back, but you will have used a transfer to do so.
Because transfers are 'first come, first served' it is sometimes a good idea to make transfers early - knowing you can come back later if, for example, you discover that a player you are buying is unlikely to play. |
PEAKING AT WHO'S PLAYING |
The transfer deadline for a Match Week is the scheduled time of the first match. Because Premier League line-ups are released an hour before kick-off, this means you will be able to know who's starting for the teams involved in the first match(es) of the Match Week before our transfer deadline. Again, it's sometimes wise to make transfers early and come back when you know who's playing to change as necessary - especially if it's not a full Match Week, when other Managers will be looking to snap up the players from teams that do have a match. |
HOW MANY TRANSFERS? |
Each Nightmare Team is given an allocation of transfers to use at any time during the season. If your Team is in right from the start, you get 60 transfers for the season. Teams entering after Match Week 1 will receive two less transfers per Match Week already passed.
If a new Division is starting when not all Premier League teams have played the same amount of matches, we will use the average matches played to calculate transfer allocations. So for example if Premier League teams have played an average of 10.3 matches each, we deduct 21 (being 20.6 rounded) and new Teams receive 39 transfers (60 - 21). |
