MATCH WEEK 10: TASTY BAGEL USE INSPIRED JOKER
A fifth century in three weeks was achieved by Gareth Bagel this weekend - just - with Ruben Neves' single point as Wolves beat Everton 2-1 squeezing Oliver Willingham's boys to the 100. Oliver chose to use a Captain Joker this week, and what an inspired decision it was. Ezri Konsa's red card for Villa as they lost 4-1 to West Ham saw him hit a bumper 30 points, doubled up to a ridiculous 60 for Bagel. Oliver finds himself in the top 10 for the first time, up five to equal 8th, but could yet have done better - with Michael Keane and Ademola Lookman's 15 points left on the bench.
THE JOKER EFFECT
Oliver included, we had no less than six Jokers played this week. Mr Magoo's Captain Joker went well, with Jamal Lascelles picking up 13 points (=26), inspiring Jonathan Andrews to 3rd place in the weekly charts and up two to 5th overall. Jonathan should perhaps have more faith in Jack Grealish - now up to 42 points from 9 games, left on the bench again this weekend as he scored 8.

Blackheart Brewery are 2nd for the week, they played a Subs Joker. Unfortunately for Garry Simpson, Patrick Bamford is still injured while Moussa Djenepo and Billy Gilmour did not play - but Brewery did make a 12 point gain thanks to sub keeper Nick Pope (5) and Caglar Soyuncu (7). Garry's the biggest climber in the overall table, up six to 18th.

Forfun also used a Subs Joker. Ultimately their weekly score of 34 is disappointing, but without the Joker Tim Simpkins' boys would have totaled just 20. Whether Tim's starting line-up would have been the same if he wasn't playing the Joker we'll never know, but if so the choice of David de Gea (-1) over Emiliano Martinez (13) would have been painful. The Villa keeper was easily the Fun’s best performer and should have been Captain. As it is Tim chose Leandro Trossard. Can’t argue with that, I may well have done the same - but the Brighton man scored -3 (Captain = -6).

England Neverbes' Subs Joker didn't really work out - they had only nine outfield players in action, perhaps Marc Snell should have considered that Paul Pogba and Ben Gibson were both suspended and would leave them short. Neverbes' Joker gained just 3 points for sub keeper Jose Sa.

Finally, my own Relegation Terrorists played a Captain Joker. Josh King was Terrorists' top performer with 8 points doubled up to 16. Before deciding on the Joker, Tyrick Mitchell was wearing the armband... Terrorists would be down from 5th to 9th in the overall table with the worst weekly score (25) - as it is we slip two to 7th.
