MATCH WEEK 17: HAMMERED TAKE TEAM OF THE WEEK
Patrick O'Reilly's policy of picking an entire Nightmare Squad of West Ham players finally paid off in Match Week 17, with Hammered top of this week's pile with 95 points. It could have been better though... Hammered chose Said Benrahma as Captain - left out, his late sub appearance saw 1 point doubled up to 2. Any other player as Captain except penalty-saving Lukasz Fabianski and Patrick would have topped 100. Meanwhile Pablo Fornals was left on the bench and scored 8 points. Had Hammered picked Fornals over Benrahma and made Vladimir Coufal (23 points) Captain, they would have set a new record for the season of 124.

With the fixture disruption, Hammered were one of only two teams to have an unused sub on the bench that played. The other was Cloughie's Cloggers, who had a decent week with 63 points but will be disappointed to have left Leandro Trossard out (10 points). Benteke did ok too with 4. Cloggers were hurt by having Jose Sa, Conor Coady and Matt Cash in their back line... -10 points between them.
MAGOO HERE TO STAY?
After toppling Al's Army last week, there's no let-up from overall leaders Mr Magoo. On the leaderboard again, Magoo are 5th best for the week with 84. Captain Diego Llorente led the charge with 34 points, and Jonathan Andrews' line-up had seven players score 7 or more points. And that's with only nine on the field, hit like most Managers by the COVID situation. Army were dominant for so long - thirteen weeks on top - and at one stage Alex Metzger was a very healthy 77 points clear. On just their second week at the summit though, Mr Magoo are 80 clear. Army themselves need to pull their socks up. Just 15 points this week leaves them only 9 ahead of The Halibut Flounderers in 3rd, and with just 50 more points than the team in 8th.
