MAGOO's WOLVES PUNT BACKFIRES
If you like your goals, Wolves matches have been a miserable watch for some time now. Going into Monday night's game against Man United, there had been a maximum of one goal each in the last seven. Five of those gave Wolves clean sheets, the other two were a single goal each conceded to Man City and Liverpool (theirs in the 94th minute). Nevertheless we had quite a few transfers-in of Wolves boys, among them our leaders Mr Magoo who bought both Fernando Marcal and Joao Moutinho. With a 1-0 victory secured over Man United, Moutinho getting the goal, Jonathan Andrews saw both his new golden boys score -3 points. Another risky bit of business saw Jonathan buy Aaron Ramsdale and instantly make him captain. That looked to be going pretty badly too until Gabriel helped Man City by giving away a penalty and getting himself sent off. Ramsdale went on to score 5 (doubled to 10 for Magoo), but Jonathan may have been expecting better. Meanwhile fellow Gunner Granit Xhaka top-scored for Magoo with 11.

They do of course stay top, though Al's Army - who also captained Ramsdale - gain 4 points. The Planets are the second best scorers this week, they climb two places to 3rd and move to within 12 points of 2nd.
