MATCH WEEK 3 - AL'S ARMY GO TOP
There are no changes to the leadership in any of our three Divisions this week, but in the Overall League Al's Army go top. Alex Metzger's boys are Match Week 3's top scorers with 90 points, enough to go 14 points clear of Clem Fandango, who are nevertheless third best for the week with 75 - The Planets second with 81.

Army are one of three Managers to benefit hugely from a new season-high score of 29 points from Granit Xhaka, sent off as Arsenal went down 5-0 to Man City and fell to the bottom of the Premier League. Well done to Norwich for climbing a place... by losing 2-1!

I thought Ayoze Perez' 26 point performance last week would take some time to top - but it's already now the third highest of the season, with Reece James scoring 28 points - also seeing red, and conceding a penalty. Sadly no-one has the Chelsea man in their Nightmare Squad.
ARSENAL'S NIGHTMARE INSPIRES
Arsenal's continuing Nightmare inspired plenty of Nightmare Managers. Apart from James, the rest of the week's top eight scores came from Arsenal players. Fandango will have been disappointed to have seen Pablo Mari left out, having brought him in to their Nightmare Squad this week. Replacement Jack Stephens did pretty well with 7 points, while Matt Woodmansey had also brought in Emile Smith-Rowe who picked up 10.

No-one had Xhaka as Captain, and it is Has Anyone won 6? who notched the best single score of the Match Week. Robert Laing had Gabriel Martinelli picked as Captain, but his absence meant Cedric Soares took over and saw his 17 points doubled to 34.
BAD BUSINESS
England neverbes threw away 6 points, replacing Bernd Leno with James McCarthy in goal. McCarthy will be happy with a 7 point display, but Leno scored 13. Meanwhile Forfun and U Kante Beat Me both decided to dispose of Calum Chambers, who started the Gunners' first match of the season but was left out last week. Back in the team, Chambers scored 17 points.
JOKERS
Three Captain and two Subs Jokers in play this week as some Managers attempt to boost their early-season positions. The Halibut Flounders' Subs Joker increased their score by 11 points. Arseshot meanwhile did not have enough regular starters to see the benefit - all their outfield subs came on anyway. Daniel Bachmann did however earn the Shots an extra 5 points as sub 'keeper.

As for the Captain Jokers - England neverbes saw Moussa Djenepo take the armband and score 22 points, while 21 Zombies had Tyrick Mitchell doubled up to 18. Mixed news for Forfun though... having Yves Bissouma's 9 points doubled is not bad, but their top two scorers stayed on the bench - Emile Smith-Rowe (10) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (14).
